As HR Business Partner based in the Zaventem office, you will be a member of our global HR team and will have responsibilities for supporting the Airfield RoW employees, Operations and Supply Chain employees in ZVT. As a trusted partner to the business leaders and employees and you will be a strong relationship builder who collaborates with the HR team on local, regional and global HR initiatives. You will operate as the HR key point of contact regarding the below areas.

Employee Relations

  • Support the employees along the “life cycle” including onboarding, employment matters, orientation/integration, leaves, performance and associated compensation activities, internal and cross-border transfers, departures and exits, grievances, reward and recognition initiatives.

Talent Acquisition

  • Work with line managers to anticipate and identify staffing needs (e.g. workforce management, project staffing). Partner with the TA team to ensure all roles are filled with top talent.

Performance and Talent Management

  • Drive and support the performance process in accordance with guidelines, e.g. communicate process, agendas and guidelines, support managers, drive performance reviews, manage discussions on development, reward/salary, career evolution.
  • Partner with the leaders as part of the Talent Review agenda, e.g., organize and lead talent reviews with your leaders, monitor performance issues, attrition, work on talent retention.
  • Manage the complete learning and development activities for your scope. Partner with the leaders to assess training needs for them and their teams. Plan and deliver training/development programs in support of identified needs.

HR Advisory and Change Management

  • Coach and advise line managers, provide high quality coaching and advisory services in order to optimize the employee experience and support development of the leaders.
  • Act as the performance improvement driver and provoke positive changes in the people management. Actively support discussions and utilize best practices from different functions in the organization.

Engagement Initiatives

  • Participate in the creation of programs and initiatives. Deploy and participate in engagement activities and people programs; participate in various HR projects locally and globally.

HR General

Ensure compliance with appropriate regulations. Partner with the Legal (internal and external) as needed/required. Act as liaison officer/member in the Employee representative bodies and work closely together with local Manager and local Union Representatives when needed.

Experience

  • 7 years or more of HR Business Partner experience
  • Previous supervisory experience a plus
  • Experience in an international, commercial environment is a plus
  • Business experience outside of HR a plus

Languages

  • English required
  • Dutch and French highly preferred
  • All other European languages a plus
