To strengthen our International Markets Region, based in the UK or Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of:
International Markets Access Solutions Lead
The International Markets (IM) Access Solutions Leadwill be responsible for ensuring UCB’s ambition of access to all patients who need our products. You will represent an important region for sales growth and broadened patient access for UCB’s extensive pipeline of products with a focus on the rare disease assets. You will ensure the International Markets are enabled to achieve key access and pricing objectives working closely with the APEX and Global mission groups.
You like to work in anenvironmentwhere you can:
- Identify and define Regional priorities and associated access and pricing strategy to enable local access and pricing launch excellence preparation
- Support the Patient Value Brand Plan, ensuring tailored ecosystem engagement plans and value materials are in place for priority markets
- Engage with internal Global functions including clinical development, medical affairs, statistical solutions, publication management and marketing
- Ensure market access and pricing launch strategy and execution excellence across International Markets for pipeline products and label extension, focusing on rare disease portfolio
- Monitor and anticipate the evolving access and pricing landscape across markets, including structural changes the country systems, payer strategies and approaches and key competitor price and access positions
- Develop insights around price level and access strategy alongside affiliate groups, as well as a deeper understanding for potential product positioning options such as product place in therapy, drug delivery and site of care and stakeholder implications
- Communicate local data needs to the Global Mission and APEX teams to globally align on key deliverables such as the evidence plan, value dossier, value story, indirect comparisons and economic models
- Identify the implications of price levels across markets, and integrations with the broader business models, developing solutions within the IM market Access and Pricing Strategy
- Enable affiliate formulation of optimised launch strategy and execution plans, developing pricing objectives, strategy, engagement plans and evidence generation plans (real world evidence)
- Translate the global value propositions for locally tailored access solutions
- Enhance payer engagement by projecting digital business transformation initiatives
- Identify training needs and provide coaching support to affiliate teams to build new competencies
Your experience and requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Access, health economics or an allied field- Extensive experience working withing Market Access within the Pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of Healthcare systems and Payer archetypes
- Experience within Product positioning optimisation, value proposition development, evidence strategy, product launch and launch excellence
- Payer engagement and negotiation at national and sub national levels
- Operational access and pricing experience – objective strategy and execution plans
- Designing clinical, humanistic and economic evidence and evaluation to demonstrate product value
- Leadership experience within a Global capacity
- Rare diseases experience preferred
