Part of AGC Glass Company, the AGC Building & Industrial Division produces, processes and distributes flat glass for the building industry, the solar industry and high tech operations. Our business is driven by four strategic Business Units:

Within the European Processed Glass Team, you will support the innovation process by actively contributing to the digital transformation of the division.

You will lead the implementation of the production tool for the most complex Processed Glass plants . You will contribute to the sharing of best practices and know-how to ensure sustainable processes and products’ reliability.

You will report to BPO of the Processed Glass division.

Tasks

  • You will build and train team of 4 people then guide to the objective
  • You wiil help building the project timeline then apply plan accordingly
  • You will review and validate requirements from AGC
  • You will create and develop the Standard Operating Procedures for all processes
  • You will review/validate/challenge the development requests from ERP to Supplier
  • You will follow up on development deliveries and ongoing implementation of the team
  • You will develop and maintain training materials and procedures for the key-users
  • You will support design of testing tools and strategy
  • You will complete building of a migration strategy with specific focus on risk reduction
  • You will monitor & report progress regularly to the team and management

Qualification

  • Preferred Industrial Engineer or Business background
  • Experience in production in a industrial group
  • Experience in project management (>1m€) with full responsibility
  • In depth knowledge or ERP’s (production) modules and their implementation methodologies
  • Excellent command of all production related processes (planning, industrialization/production line setup, production, quality control, packing) and the related ERP transactions
  • Field experience in production management and lean manufacturing
  • Professional level of English and Dutch, French or other EU languages is an asset
  • Comfortable with both Project management & day- to- day operations management
