YOUR TASKS:

  • As Industry Manager, you are the driving force behind our growth in the logistics market. You are responsible for the further expansion of the relationships with these customers & prospects in the different segments of the logistics market. This is done initially through market research and business development, followed by appropriate marketing communications and activities.
  • In addition, you will have a ’Product Management’ responsibility for the ’Auto-ID & Vision’ range. SICK has worked intensively here in recent years on a high-end range, from simple vision sensors to cloud-based solutions. Digitalization and Deep Learning are an important part of this.
  • In order to boost the above-mentioned market and range, you will create innovative campaigns with targeted sales activities for our various sales teams. You manage the complete cycle: market analysis & development, market introduction of (new) products and solutions within the direct and indirect sales channels, follow-up of technical support, elaboration and follow-up of a marketing plan, etc.
  • Moreover, you function as the link between our headquarters and the local market.
  • You work on achieving the predefined sales figures and turn prospects into satisfied customers.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You have a technically skilled background and experience in industrial automation whereby a specialisation in Auto-ID and/or Vision is a plus
  • You are daring, independent and result-driven
  • You have experience in making & implementing strategic plans
  • At the same time you are a team player and stress resistant
  • You are trilingual Dutch/French/English
