The internal communication manager plays a leading role in developing and execution of the communication strategy for the Clinical Laboratory Sciences department which is part of the Global Clinical Operations team.
He or she designs and delivers a measurable communication and employee engagement plan in line with the overall business strategy and priorities.

Fluent in both English and French- Academic degree
- Experience in communications and/or change management
- Proven experience of developing, implementing and measuring engagement strategies and programmes to support achievement of business objectives.
- Strong writing skills
- Strong digital communication skills (Digital content, internal social media, video, audiovisual, …)
- Able to deliver results in a complex matrix environment
- Experience in advising leaders in their communication
- Excellent listening and analytical skills
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Enterprise thinker
- Ability to operate with the highest integrity and discretion

Our client is a global vaccine research, development and production company, that employs over 11,200 people worldwide, of which 7,500 in its three Belgian sites: Rixensart, Wavre and Gembloux. Your Responsibilities
- Drive and execute the overall communications plan towards team members as well as towards key internal stakeholders. Coordinate work with all key stakeholders, define objectives and measure progress.
- Ensure an integrated planning of communication initiatives and events across CLS and in line with the overall CLS and Global Clinical Operations (GCO) engagement Plan to ensure engagement of all part of this global and world-wide organization
- Advocate an enterprise mindset and ensure high adherence to the strategy, using culture and the company’s values and expectations as a key lever
- Provide leaders in CLS with content that enables them to engage their organisation. Help leaders translate priorities for their own teams
- Through impactful communication, bring focus and alignment in a high-paced, fast-changing environment. Help turn down “noise” in the organisation by challenging and advising teams on relevance, timeliness, target audience and channels for their communications.
- Through focus groups or other bottom – up mechanisms, listen to the organisation and analyse feedback to improve how we communicate and meet the audience’s expectation.
- Develop messages in an engaging style to highlight achievements and trigger pride within the organisation
- Customize communication to reach, to impact and to engage all part of the global CLS organization (employees, technicians, managers, scientists, leaders,…)
- Organise communication events (face to face and virtual) such as all employee town halls and Global Broadcasts. Define the agenda, coach speakers both on their content and message delivery.
- Own the relationship with external suppliers such as audiovisual- and creative design agencies to help deliver impactful internal events and campaigns.
