工作内容

Be a part of a dynamic team in the chemistry department of NovAliX, on projects synthesizing novel molecules for innovative biological targets, your mission will consist in:

  • Carrying out and monitoring multi-step organic syntheses (mg to g scale).
  • The purification of the molecules obtained.
  • The characterization of the products synthesized by classical analytical techniques (LC-MS, NMR).
  • The writing up of your laboratory book and experimental procedures.

Profile

Passionate and motivated chemistry student who in 2022/2023 academic year will be in the first or second year of a master’s degree in synthetic organic chemistry.

Understanding of fundamentals of organic chemistry on aliphatic, aromatic and organometallic compounds.

Rigorous and organized individual, with good adaptation skills and learning abilities. Good communication skills in English, French or Dutch may be an advantage.
