About Us:

Miraclon, the home of KODAK FLEXCEL Solutions, is a world leading provider of printing products for the global packaging sector. We sell flexographic imaging equipment, printing plates, consumables and related services, which enable graphic customization of a wide variety of packaging materials. Miraclon was previously a division of The Eastman Kodak Company and was purchased by Montagu Private Equity in 2019. We are present in the US, Canada, Mexico, Belgium, Israel, India, China, and Japan, with about 400 employees.

The role:

We are looking for an intern who wants to acquire a first professional experience by joining our global and diverse IT team. You will be based in our worldwide headquarters in Zaventem (Brussels) but also support offices and remote users in other regions.

The successful candidate for this role should have a strong command of cloud-based tools and a passion for helping people. We are looking for that detective mentality – someone who wants to find out the how and the why of an issue and achieves high end-user satisfaction for IT services.

You will work in close collaboration with your internship supervisor, Miraclon’s global IT Service Delivery & Training Lead, a Microsoft Certified Trainer who is very willing to share his knowledge, as well as our global 24/7 Managed Services Provider based in Costa Rica.

Key responsibilities:

Assist with the installation, configuration and monitoring of IT hardware and software.

Monitor and triage incidents in our IT ticketing platform and escalate where appropriate.

Provide deskside support to end-users and ensure the preventive and evolutionary maintenance of equipment.

Perform diagnostics and handle various incidents.

Help to manage our Microsoft cloud tenant as an administrator and look for opportunities to increase business productivity and reduce costs.

Support different improvement projects within IT.

Hard skills and Requirements:

Technical knowledge of OS (Windows 10/11 and incidentally Mac OS X);

Knowledge of networks (LAN, WAN, DNS, etc.) and their protocols (TCP/IP, etc.);

Knowledge in the use and configuration of smartphones (Android, iOS, Windows Mobile);

Knowledge of at least one of the Microsoft cloud solutions (e.g. Office 365, Azure);

Basic knowledge in managing an Azure Active Directory;

Knowledge of SharePoint Online would be a plus.

Soft skills:

Customer and result oriented.

Analytical, synthetic, precise and rigorous.

You have a good sense of self initiative, you know how to manage priorities and you are organized.

Good communication skills.

You are a real team player, and you also know how to work independently.

You will be working with different time zones across the world, so flexibility is a requirement.

Required Languages: Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French would be a plus.

Internship agreement:

This internship will be governed by an internship agreement between the school, the student and Miraclon Belgium BV. Interns must be a student in Belgium and be based in Belgium.
