IT DIGITAL DIRECTOR


If you are hired at Carrefour Belgium, you are part of a team of around 10,000 motivated employees, spread over around 800 stores and the head office.

Carrefour Belgium is one of the most renowned retailers in Belgium with different store formats / concepts: Carrefour Hypermarkets, Carrefour Market and Carrefour Express.


Carrefour Belgium is hiring an IT Digital Director.
Being a member of our Direction Board, and reporting directly to our CIO, he/she will be accountable for:


  • Leading our IT Digital team: 4 direct reports (Team Managers and a global team of 10 (Business/Technical Analysts and Technical Designers).
  • Challenging our strategic partners (Accenture, Adobe, SAP,...) while maintaining an efficient relationship - communication with them, in line with project delivery and budgets.
  • Managing digital budgets from € 6 to € 10 million.
  • Consulting senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization, in order to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of the digital tools.
  • Delivering major (strategic) IT Digital projects in:

E-commerce / Digital.

Stores.

Warehouse management.

Mobile applications.

Coupon wallet management.

Loyalty site

Call center, ShipTo, Deliveroo, Uber Eats, incident management...



Our ideal candidate:


  • Holds a Master’s Degree.
  • Has 10 - 15 years of successful experience in a similar role.
  • Is at least bilingual (FR/NL/EN).
  • Is a natural charismatic leader with a successful track record in people management and project delivery.
  • Is a naturally customer centered and result oriented manager.
  • Is fond of technological (r)evolution and digitalization.
  • Is an excellent communicator, with strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Has strong interpersonal skills, being able to communicate with teams across the entire organization.
  • Has a strong knowledge of project management principles.
