IT Security & Compliance Officer

Robert Half is currently recruiting anIT Security & Compliance Officer to join an international company.

Our client is specialized in global trade management software for companies and is located in Mechelen.

The scope of responsibilities for this job include:

• You improve the awareness on security topics at management as well as operational level by giving workshops/trainings and doing tests;
• You will closely partner with third parties to conduct risk assessments and to identify risk themes;
• Furthermore, you will follow-up on all findings of the audits which is performed by third parties throughout the organization: correct process management, identity and user access management, segregation of duties, etc.;
• Based on your common findings, you will have a set of internal controls in place;
• You will monitor progress and proper implementation of recommendations;
• You will perform all tasks in accordance with ISO 27001 & 9001 and SOX quality requirements and taking Customs4trade’s values into account;
• You will collaborate closely with the IT System administrator and the Technology Director to deliver an all-round IT security plan;
• You will focus on the process side of IT security and by doing so you will formulate the security guidelines;
• You develop and deliver IT security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the group;
• You will tackle all the daily aspects of the GDPR implementation.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• You hold a University or Bachelor degree;
• You have a good and broad experience in IT Security and compliancy, acquired in consultancy or in an internal position. Experiences in audits is a plus;
• You have a good overall knowledge of GDPR, without necessarily being an expert and you are very familiar with IT Processes;
• Flexible and hands-on person who is capable of achieving results in a high pace and fast- changing environment;
• Excellent communication, networking and collaboration skills, able to deal at all levels in the organization;
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to work well under stress, handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines;
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is a must have, other languages a plus.
