MissionsAs IT Facilities Engineer you will be a key element of Foundation Services, strong of his 35 collaborators based on 3 countries, supporting the infrastructures: Network, Storage, Backup, Virtualization & IT Room Facilities.ResponsibilitiesYou will be also responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting and operating the IT Facilities on 35 EPLO all around Europe (and Washington) within the European Parliament
  • Data Centers Infrastructure and assets implementation strategy
  • Documentations of DC environment (blueprint, DC datasheets, procedures)
  • Infrastructure evaluation and modifications needs
  • Capacity Planning & Reporting (Electrical and cooling consumption, racks and cabling panels capacity)
  • Managing the whole cycle of life of assets (deliveries, installations, moves, decommissioning)
  • Data sanitizing
Profile
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Center or IT room Infrastructure
  • In-depth demonstrable skills in system and functional analysis and problem diagnostic
  • Demonstrated ability for effective communication (oral and written) to all levels of the organization
  • French & English are mandatory
  • Resistance to stress
Technical Skills
  • Cabling skills (ex : prise RJ45)
  • Network structured cabling LAN & SAN and configuration
  • Assets Inventory (registration, traceability, CMDB, Statistics and reporting)
  • Data Centers monitoring and supervision
  • Routing/switching
  • CCNA
