Job Purpose
This is a role that aims to give a first HR working experience to starters. The objective for the Junior HR talent officer is to the HR Manager from a recruitment and administrative perspective. It is a unique position in which you gain knowledge about Dutch and Belgian labor law, enhance your HR administration skills and develop your recruitment skills. Furthermore, you will work in a broader international environment with direct exposure to the US, UK and Nordics countries. You report to the HR Manager Benelux, based in Mechelen (BE).

Main Responsibilities
Hiring and staffing
- You support the entire recruitment process: creating job descriptions, launching approvals, direct search, CV screening, planning of interviews, conducting job interviews, maintaining contact with interim agencies, job boards management;
- Ensure new hires get employee orientation and a solid on-boarding process;
- Supporting employee engagement and creation of a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Build up Campus Recruitment in the Benelux.
General HR administration
- Delivering generalist, operational HR services for the 100 Belgian (both French and Dutch speaking) and 50 Dutch employees
- Maintaining employee files, preparing legal documents like addenda and contracts, providing social documents;
- Supporting and coordinating learning & development needs;
- Completing administration tasks and managing through processes and systems accurately;
- You feed our payroll department with timely and accurate payroll and benefit management;
- You ensure timely and accurate administration in hiring and exit procedures (insurances, payroll, IT, access rights, account management,…).
Compliances:
- Ensure Dutch and Belgian labor legislation compliance;
- Ensure health & safety compliance;
- Ensure policy and procedure compliance.
International HR projects:
- Be involved from an administrational standpoint in different HR projects that are regularly launched globally.
Competences, skills and profile
- Preferably a Bachelor or Graduate level in the field of HR;
- You have minimum 1 -2 years of working experience;
- Dutch and English are required and because of the Benelux scope, French language skills are a plus.
- You operate with discreteness and integrity;
- Knowledge of Belgian and Dutch labor law is a plus, but you will have the opportunity to learn on the job;
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Positive attitude and open, flexible approach
- You work independently and you are result-oriented;
- You have attention to detail and a structured and logical approach
