Your Story

Deloitteis a world leading professional services firm, providing accounting and auditing services, management consulting and legal and tax advice. In Belgium we are the largest professional service provider. Our offices offer services to multi-national and large organisations, public institutions and innumerable small, fast-growing companies.

Within our central Finance team we are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to strengthen our accounting team. You will be responsible for different tasks as processing of purchase invoices, accounting transactions, assist on monthly closings and monthly/ad hoc analyses and reportings and this for all Deloitte legal entities.

Your role

  • You receive and handle purchase invoices of all Deloitte legal entities;
  • You will collaborate closely with the controllers of the different business units in order to receive correct and timely information to process the incoming invoice;
  • You will follow up the approval process of purchase invoices very closely in order to ensure timely processing;
  • You manage suppliers account and verify outstanding amounts;
  • You prepare payment batches in a timely way;
  • You record cash transactions;
  • You assist upon the monthly closing.

Our Story

  • You have preferably a degree in Accounting;
  • A first working experience is an asset;
  • Young graduates are also welcome;
  • Knowlegde of MS Office and good knowledge of Excel is necessary. Experience in SAP is a plus;
  • You have good knowledge of Dutch and English;
  • You are eager to learn, flexible and a real team-player;
  • You communicate clearly and work precisely;
  • You are stress resistent;
  • You have good analytical/mathematical skills;
  • You are able to work independently in an organized and structured way.
