Job Description

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will have strong knowledge of the Microsoft Azure public cloud platform and provide technical leadership in supporting solutions & infrastructure environments built on it.

You will be responsible of delivering Azure expertise to our customers, deploying and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure solutions as designed by our DXC Azure architects, and interfacing as a local technical contact between our customers’ environments and our world-wide DXC Azure operation teams.

You will also support the DXC Azure offerings and service delivery teams with information and feedback on the customer environments you handle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery of Azure technical solution deployments and maintenance to customers.
• Technical leadership in deployment and operation of Azure based solutions for DXC customers and offering teams.
• Development of Intellectual Property (IP), best practices and knowledge assets to be reused and shared across DXC.
• Actively contribute to a culture of high performance, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Work directly with customers to build a trusted partner status with the client stakeholders
• Ability to work in a complex, matrix managed organizational environment

Education and experience:

• 2+ years of experience in supporting the development, and deployment of enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure public cloud
• Appropriate certifications in Azure and associated MS technologies strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Qualifications:

• Experience working in a customer-facing role
• Good analytical skills in linking technical and commercial implications.
• Experience evaluating the technical resources required in an Azure-based environment.
• Excellent articulation and communication skills. Strong presentation skills and ability to correctly held technical and business level conversations. Experience in presenting ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language, to diverged audiences
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with a high degree of comfort dealing with customers, Project Managers, Account teams, (Enterprise) Architects, and development teams
• Demonstrable track record of ongoing learning and certifications in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including understanding the capabilities and limitations of Azure, and being able to implement/deploy and deliver solutions leveraging various Azure platform services
• Experienced in working in agile/devops environment with continuous integration and continuous deployment and application lifecycle management
• Demonstrate Microsoft Azure domain expertise when collaborating on cross-platform projects with teams responsible for Network, Desktop & Cloud
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
