工作内容

Mission

Overall management of all railway transport on the Aperam Genk site.

1 single point of contact from Aperam to external railway company

Responsibilities

Safety: implementation of safety standard railways with different parties, safety follow up, Aperam contact person for LoToTo procedures on railways
Planning: coördination of daily transports with optimal planning in function of actual needs for scrap supply, coil supply and slab expedition
Financial follow up: manage purchase orders and receptions (incl waiting times for scrap wagons)
Manage daily maintenance of railways on-site: maintenance planning and follow up with external maintenance company
Follow up of other railway activities on site (e.g. scrap yard)
Support for purchasing department in contract negotiations
Coördinates and participates daily, weekly and monthly (Quality) Meetings with external railway company

Profile

You have a Master Degree
You have preferably some years experience in logistics
You have strong communication skills to communicate with both many internal and external parties
You are capable to understand and decide on clear and changing priorities in railway management
You have knowledge of Dutch, English and French. German is a plus.
