Role Description
We have a fantastic opportunity within our video network product management team for a new associate product manager to spearhead their career by working with some of the most experienced product and solution managers in the video industry.
Picture yourself in a company which is well established but is perceived as the biggest startup in this industry by its pace of innovation and rapid speed of development both technical as commercial.
As associate product manager you will participate in the definition, launch and evolution of our world-class products and solutions, that are used by some of the world’s largest video content providers such as Sky, Discovery and Disney. The role will offer a huge variety of experiences and opportunities in bringing new offers to market.
Requirements:
- Assist in product definition and lifecycle management from launch to end-of-life with the lead product managers in the team
- Evaluate product positioning and competitive analysis including product pricing and commercial offers
- Refine some of the go-to-market processes as the video industry is evolving from traditional box selling to solution and managed-service offers
- Support sales and marketing efforts as required. Travel will be required
- Create relevant marketing material, conduct pricing, cost and margin analysis
Personal Attributes
- Technical background, preferably in video, telecommunications or networking
- 1-3 years of experience in applying at least one element of life-cycle marketing, including launch, transition or end-of-life
- Communication, listening and influencing skills.
- Business insight: ability to create customer value in solution definitions and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- A can-to mentality!
