Are you interested in IoT and app/web development? Can you think on a conceptual level? Are you eager to take your next step as a software engineer, working in an office with a view near Ghent? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you!
As a Software Engineer within our European Development Center, you’ll be responsible for the design and development of cloud solutions and related software for various Daikin product ranges. You’ll function as our technical expert and make sure that our requirements are translated correctly towards our external partners. Your tasks will include:
- Development, prototyping and third line support for smartphone applications, web applications and cloud software
- Formulation of software and user interface specs, in line with business requirements
- Communicating the requirements for development and testing of user interfaces to our external partners
- Checking up on our external suppliers to make sure their deliverables meet our standards
- Following technological evolutions within your field of expertise and formulating proposals to include them in our developments
Algemene vereisten
- A Master’s degree in Electronics or IT
- Strong interest in software development, IoT, machine to machine communication, app/web development
- Teamplayer, driven to find solutions for technical requirements and specific client enquiries
