Junior Treasury & Finance Administrator

The job

Joining our Finance team in Antwerp, you will take on a critical role in the day by day Treasury operations of all Belgian entities.

As an all-round enthusiastic Finance professional with a passion for international business & finance you will assist in the following treasury operations:

• Support to commercial BU’s to finance trading transactions in a swift and efficient manner.
• Liquidity management by ensuring sufficient means to fund the daily operations and structure trade transactions in accordance with approved policies and guidelines and optimizing factoring operations.
• Manage cash-flows by reducing cash balances on statutory and consolidated level to minimize idle cash.
• Follow-up of bank positions by ensuring inhouse position equals the positions of the financing banks.
• Foreign Exchange operations, by managing the exposure determination of specific FX-risks including exposure on emerging market currencies
• Providing and executing hedging solutions.
• Interact with accounting to translate Treasury operations timely and correctly into Accounting records
• Reporting and forecasting of the use of credit lines and escalate any shortcomings.
• Intercompany finance by following up on payments of IC positions and granting and documenting bridge loans.

Your profile

• You have obtained a master’s degree in Economics / Finance or equivalent through experience
• You have a first business experience in treasury and/or financial controlling, preferably within a multinational environment
• Understanding of key financial concepts (Letter of Credit, Documentary collection, Option, Forward contract,..)
• You have strong communication and analytical skills
• You are stress resistant, punctual and focused on achieving deadlines
• You are ambitious and energetic with a positive can-do attitude
• You are fluent in English, a knowledge of Dutch, French is a plus.
