What will be the main purposes of your role?

  • Developing and growing the Royal Canin business for the Offline Belux Pet Specialty Retail customers.
  • Implementing the Royal Canin Strategy on a Head Quarter level by creating growth opportunities in perfect stores.
  • Building and maintaining a commercial relationship with the Head Quarters.
  • Being the right hand of the Sales Manager and working in close collaboration with the sales representatives.
  • Collaborative interacting with the internal Royal Canin departments of Sales, Marketing, Finance & Logistics.
  • Being an ambassador of our brand by telling our story.

What will your day look like? Each will be different, but you’ll be taking on responsibilities like:

  • Creating a tailor-made Annual Execution Plan to develop the Customer’s turnover in a sustainable way.
  • Searching for opportunities to grow the Premium Petfood category with the Offline customers.
  • Willing to take on extra projects to seize the opportunities of new online/omni customers within the Belgian market.
  • Living and implementing the Royal Canin Strategy by maintaining the commercial relationships with our customers.
  • Investing in a smart way the local budget to develop the Royal Canin business with the customers.
  • Negotiating and managing trade conditions with the Head Quarters.

  • Great communicator and good listener, who gets energized from a strong collaboration with customers and colleagues.
  • A proactive entrepreneur who is willing to walk the extra mile, who can work in a structured way and has an appetite for analytical deep dives.
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in Dutch, French and English is an absolute must.
  • Master’s degree, ideally in Sales or Marketing.
  • At least 2 years sales experience in a Key Account Manager’s role, preferable in a similar industry.
  • Last, but not least: passion, affinity, and enthusiasm for Dogs & Cats is highly important.
