Job Description

Your role

In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required

This DBA is an application DBA.
  • Good knowledge about Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Have good knowledge about TOAD, OEM and SQL Developer.
  • He/she should perform database changes (on all database in DEV/QA/PRODUCTION) requested by the application teams.
Examples Of Changes
  • Create new tables in DEV/QA/PRODUCTION
  • Delete tables when they are not in use anymore.
  • Add columns, Indexes.
  • Export/Import data.
  • Maintain our data dictionary.
  • Create proper SQL scripts to perform the databases changes in DEV/QA and production.
  • Support the product teams and advise them which naming to use for the columns tables.
  • Update the connection strings for the databases used by the application teams.
