De ORAC GROUP, bestaande uit ORAC NV en NEAFORMA NV, vormt een dynamische familiale KMO met een hart voor interieurdecoratie en industriële kunststoftoepassingen. Vanuit haar hoofdzetel in Oostende ontwikkelt, produceert en verkoopt ORAC hoogwaardige interieuroplossingen in 5 productgroepen: plinten, indirecte verlichting, multifunctionele lijsten, kroonlijsten en decoratieve elementen in kunststof. ORAC telt meer dan 300 medewerkers (Oostende, Slovakije en Rusland) en is actief in meer dan 90 landen.


Logistics Engineer

As one of the key players in the Interior Decoration, we are continuously striving for optimisation in our Supply Chain Organization to give our customers an excellent experience. As Logistics Engineer you share the enthusiasm for happy customers and are ready to work on a continuous improvement agenda in warehousing and logistics at national and international level. You will be welcomed as an Oracian in the Supply Chain Team and report to the Supply Chain Manager.


How will your job look like ?


  • As the key user and process owner of our WMS System you continuously analyze, design and deliver improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and quality.
  • Your passion for logistics enables you to continuously strive for the realization of improvement projects within the logistics playing field such as analysis of procedures and processes, introduction of automation (both physical and digital). You co-create, define and implement the best strategies to increase and guarantee sustainability within the logistics domain.
  • You have the opportunity to analyze and implement a new warehouse lay-out and logistics processes for our Belgian plant.
  • You have the chance to set up a logistics tender process and create a standard at group level.
  • Your experience enables you to create an effective SLA framework for our current and future 3PL services.
  • You offer our European customers effective delivery of warehouse & logistics services (2PL & 3PL).
  • You offer support to our colleagues to analyze data and calculate ROI within the logistics and production environments.

Who are you?

  • First and foremost, you are interested in becoming an ORACIAN and are fascinated by our story.
  • You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in an Economic/Supply Chain Direction and at least 3 years’ experience within a logistics environment.
  • You are a team player, passionate about building internal and external networks and can rely on your strong communication skills to do so.
  • You love figures and data and make decisions based on them.
  • You have a hands-on, result driven approach.
  • You keep up to date with trends and technologies within the logistics field.
  • You are analytical and have strong Excel skills
  • You are able to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a global and dynamic environment.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
