About Our Client

Our client is an historical leader in cabling the telecom sector.

Job Description

Together with supply chain & customers service follows the logistic/operational topics(delay delivery/returns/claims/transport issues).

Tasks

  • Flow Management
    • Supervises and controls flows related to physical material / consumables
      • Coordinating transportation
      • Maintaining update delay suppliers
      • Finished goods delivery to the customers
      • Return orders of customer
      • Contact with quality manager and follow-up actions
Transportation Management

  • Enforces respect of transportation contracts and agreements
  • Ensures that shipments are loaded and delivered on time and in full

Monitoring of Performance (in collaboration with the subcontractor)

  • Contributes to the delivery process performance by analysing related dashboards
  • Measures and follows up performance indicators on his perimeter

Team work

  • Co-ordinates activities and enhances communication between subcontractor, carriers, ...
  • Participates to operational meetings with the subcontractor.

The Successful Applicant

We Are Looking For a Logistics Officer That

  • Bachelor degree
  • Language : fluent in Dutch, English. French is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of SAP and Excel
  • Team player, socially skilled and creative who likes working in an international environment
  • Pragmatic, problem-solving and looking for continuous improvements
