Manager - Venture Deals

We’re looking for a talented Manager to join our Deals department as part of ourVenture Dealsteam.

What you’ll learn and do

• Assist and support start-ups in their journey for fundraising

• Assist corporates with their investments in or acquisitions of innovative young companies

• Work on financial models, valuations and other assignments for ambitious, driven and mission-oriented entrepreneurs

• Support larger corporations in defining their corporate venturing strategy

• Engage and build relationships with founders, corporate innovation leaders and venture capital investors.
  

Who you are, what you’re like

• Holder of a Master’s Degree, preferably in business or economics.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in M&A / Venture Capital / finance related field

• Strong numerical and analytical skills, understands complex issues, quickly absorbs information, excels in conceptual and creative problem solving

• Digitally savvy; curious about technology, understands its impact on business and society

• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment; easily establishes trust-based relationships, gains valuable insights through collaboration and communication

• Personal and professional attributes required to engage with senior client and internal stakeholders

• Proven presentation and storytelling skills, personal impact and confidence to lead meetings, presentations and workshops

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch is appreciated

• Ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner

• Confidence to constructively challenge team members and leadership in order to ensure that the right client outcomes and value is delivered.
