Marketing & Communication Manager – Brussels, Belgium

Salary: €3500 basic per month plus great benefits – local contract

We are looking for a highly creative and out-of-the-box thinker Marketing & Communication Manager that is fully versed in all aspect of traditional marketing, digital, Social media, PR & Communication.

We are looking for a skilled, savvy, ingenious and innovative MarkCom Manager who is ready to take a key role within a dynamic, growing organization. You will play a strategic role in defining how the venue is presented within a highly competitive market.

This is a hands-on position that will require experience in building and developing a new brand or business, developing partnerships, talking to journalist and influencers and leveraging all relevant on and off line marketing channels to achieve success.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Development and execution of the marketing & communications plan for the venue in conjunction with the Hotel director and brand manager.
• Execution of marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness and increase sales.
• Building marketing partnerships and management of third-party marketing agencies.
• Development of hotel marketing and sales collaterals.
• Responsible for marketing budget planning & control.
• Responsible for maintaining the website and the property social media channels.
• Outreach to lifestyle, trade, and consumer media with the help of the European PR team.
• Acquire high-reach influencers for collaborations to increase visibility of the hotel.
• Manage incoming media inquiries and individual press trips and editorial visits to the property.
• Responsible for customer loyalty marketing.
• Market research & ROI analysis of marketing activities.

The Right Candidate

• At least 3 years previous marketing experience within ‘experience based’ industry

• Must understand the Lifestyle & Design; Art & Creative brands and industry

• Must have a degree at Bachelor/Master Level, preferably Marketing and Communication
• Have broad marketing experience including e-commerce, digital & social media, traditional print advertising and PR
• A strong awareness of Belgium trends & events
• A passion for the Arts would be an advantage.
• An existing network of influencers would be an asset.
• A fantastic communicator at all levels
• Analytical, focused, hands-on, and results-driven – A strong conceptual thinker.
• Genuine, confident and committed. Adaptable, innovative and strategic.
• Be passionate about what you do, thinking outside the box and living a healthy life
• Able to juggle and deliver multiple projects simultaneously
• Be hands-on and excellent in keeping your budget
• Fluent in English.
• Additional languages : French and Dutch (an advantage)
