COMPANY: POLITICO

POLITICO is looking for a Marketing Intern to join the Brussels-based Product Marketing team for a four-month internship starting in August/September 2024.

The chosen candidate would support POLITICO’s product marketing team in developing, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns.

You will gain first-hand experience with the key marketing aspects to drive brand and product awareness, generate leads, and engage with clients. You will interact with colleagues from various departments across POLITICO, including Product, Sales, and Events.

  • Please note that for this role you need to be currently enrolled in a university.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, digital platforms, and social media.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing initiatives;
  • Prepare marketing materials and sales enablement tools;
  • Assist and support the marketing team in administrative tasks.

What You’ll Need

  • A keen interest in marketing as well as in politics and news;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills;
  • Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
  • Fluent command of English, written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages, such as French and/or German is a plus.

Important Internship Details

Internships generally last three to four months. This position is only available for student training as part of university or graduate coursework. Please note that as per Belgian regulations, internships that are part of university or graduate coursework cannot be paid, however, compensation toward lunch and transport to the office is provided.
