The Position

As a Marketing Specialist for our Software business unit, you will be at the driver’s seat for the development and execution of different marketing activities and campaigns in the realization of the marketing plans. Based on the needs and inputs of our sales and market managers, you are responsible for developing approaches, content and messaging that have an effective and efficient impact on the organization’s capability to realize its product, sales and/or marketing strategy.

Responsibilities
- You are responsible for your assigned marketing campaigns and activities. Based on the analysis of the business needs and the target audience, you develop marketing activities, content and creative messaging. You define the objectives, plan the activities and plan and support the implementation of your marketing activities.
- You monitor the execution, effectiveness and impact of marketing activities and evaluate if defined objectives are realized and improvements need to be made.
- Provide input into the development of marketing plans and take ownership of specific market & product segments from the plan.
- You make sure lead generation and qualification remains the key driver for our BU marketing activities.
- You offer professional support to the business and organization in the creation of marketing materials, brochures, presentations, web-pages… You assure content, messaging, promotion and presentation is in line with professional standards and corporate identity.
- Watch over the timing and budgets of advertising, promotional and commercial activities to ensure that the planned activities are efficiently carried out within the set limits.
- Prepare, plan and support the implementation of advertising, promotional and commercial activities to ensure that the action plans can be realized.
- Take responsibility for the permanent registration of statistical data (i.e. when new products or marketing activities are developed) to ensure that the best possible support is offered to Sales & Market teams.
- Distribute and follow up on tasks of marketing assistants, the internal agency and external service providers.
- Take ownership of the relationship with an assigned sales office to make sure HQ-activities cascade as efficient as possible and obtain good insight into local needs, challenges & opportunities.
Requirements
- You have 2+ years’ experience in a B2B marketing environment;
- You have strong digital marketing skills
- You can translate business objectives into marketing (communication) plans;
- You think conceptually and out-of-the-box, but are also practical and hands-on to ensure proper implementation of the business sales targets;
- Experience with content marketing and marketing tactics with proven campaign results;
- Proficient knowledge of English is essential. Any other language is an asset.
- You are able to multi-task and execute projects independently.
- You have experience with building strong working relationships across different teams and with managing the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment;
- You have a strong and proactive work ethic;
- You are energetic, organized & creative.
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing is desired but not required. Expertise in the Software industry is a plus.
- Occasional travel can occur
