NX Corporate Finance - M&A internship 2023

At a glance

Jumpstart your career by joining NX Corporate Finance as an intern and learn first hand the dynamic surroundings of Corporate Finance. We are looking for a passionate person who wants to experience entrepreneurship and use their financial knowledge to help building impactful relations. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job training and will be able to develop your M&A skills by being involved from A-Z in different M&A processes.

We’ll trust you to become an important part of the team by:

• joining client meetings
• conducting financial analyses
• carrying out company and industry sector research
• analysing business plans
• supporting the team with due diligence
• preparing presentations
• assisting in the execution process of deals

Your working environment

NX Corporate Finance provides hands-on, no nonsense solutions for Corporate Finance / M&A challenges that entrepreneurs are confronted with in all stages of their company’s lifecycle. These include (but are not limited to): sell- & buy-side advisory (minority to 100% sale, Owner Buy-Out, Management Buy-Out or Buy-In, ...), financing optimization and structuring (refinancing, capital expenditures, working capital, ...), improving company foundations and structure (controlling and reporting, treasury solutions,

corporate governance, ...) and fundraising for scale-ups and mature SMEs looking for growth.

You will develop an invaluable professional and financial skill-set and build an extensive professional network, whilst enjoying our open culture and inclusive environment.

Your profile

Are you ambitious, curious and eager to learn? Are you keen on working closely together in a team setting and a social environment where you get to meet entrepreneurs, private equity investors, VC investors, BA’s, institutional investors, bankers, etc… Then this might be a great internship for you!

• You will have a strong academic track record and must be studying for, or having achieved, a degree in accounting, economics and or finance
• Have an understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications
• Outstanding analytical and commercial skills
• Displaying pro-activity, self-discipline and being quality and result-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English are key
• A demonstrated interest in M&A
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
