Join Sanofi Belgium CHC – Consumer Healthcare – as National Accounts Manager. In this role you will own the development of the Key Account Channel, from strategy to execution of all aspects of the channel: people, commercial policy, trends, future evolutions and overall return. Your Key Account Channel Landscape: E-Commerce players, Key Account Customers (pharmacy & retail), Pharmacy groups and wholesalers.

Main responsibilities
  • Analyze market developments and formulate appropriate proposals to develop growth opportunities. Assess market activity/trends at point of purchase to identify new strategic opportunities
  • Development of the yearly channel plan and 2-year outlook from strategy to execution. You will be responsible for the achievement of agreed annual financial budgets by key account/brand (net sales / customer profitability) and all other customer related sales KPI’s
  • Develop category management projects for the in-store execution and digital shelving of our brands ensuring excellence in 3D (display, distribution, and detailing)
  • Plan promotion and recommendation activity, together with account investment levels, aligned to Trade and Shopper marketing strategy for brands
  • Customer P&L accountability
  • Develop Sales & Customer budgeting and reviews according to financial planning process
  • Manage 1 KAM and work in close collaboration with the marketing and sales teams. Enhance professional expertise and competency of KA field force Team and facilitate cross-category fertilization of resources
About you
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
  • Ideally 5-6 years of Key Account management experience from OTC/FMCG
  • High level of FMCG negotiation and customer relationship development, as well as effective team building skills
  • Proficient in key areas of account management, including sales budgeting, forecasting and effective business planning, extensive knowledge of business and trade marketing principles
  • Agility (”challenge the status quo”) & perseverance (“can do” mentality), eager to learn
  • Passionate about consumer, brands & people
  • Bi-lingual spoken & written language in Dutch/French. Good understanding of the English language, written & spoken
