Mission

As Nuclear Engineer Decommissioning Processes, it is essential to possess expertise in the following areas:
  • Co-development (with senior experts) of nuclear decommissioning processes
  • Knowledge about cutting - and decontamination techniques
  • Knowledge about radioactive material- and waste flows during dismantling
  • Knowledge about nuclear decommissioning of the main components of the primary circuit
  • Writing technical specifications, technical follow-up of contracts and decommissioning activities
  • Verify the technical work performed by peers
  • Working in close relationship with the final client and interact with Safety Authorities and Radioactive Waste Management Agencies.

Profile

  • You have a master’s degree in engineering / sciences / physics / chemistry
  • You know French or Dutch and English
  • You have knowledge of the Belgian Nuclear Ecosystem
  • Working principles of a Nuclear Power Plant (type Pressurized Water Reactor)
  • Working Experience in the nuclear sector is an asset.
  • Some projects might require on-site interventions
  • Write qualitative reports within a respected deadline
