Job Purpose and Impact

The Packaging Direct Contact Materials and Transport Process Specialist will drive value for the company and customers by standardizing processes related to packaging, direct contact materials and transport within the area of food safety, quality and regulatory systems. In this role, you will develop, deploy and implement standardized processes, build in best practices across various businesses and align efforts with global and corporate processes related to packaging, direct contact materials and transport. You will nurture a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring these processes are continuously optimized and learnings are shared across locations, businesses and regions in an effort to ensure consistency for employees and customers. Key Accountabilities
Align business process, product and technology expertise related to packaging, direct contact materials and transport with corporate, global or regional standardization requirements to develop, deploy and implement standardized procedures. Through ongoing consultation with internal and external food safety, quality and regulatory teams, compile and leverage industry best practices as a way to continuously improve the regional process standardization initiatives. Identify or develop and post a complete set of easy to access best practice standardized food safety, quality and regulatory procedures for use across the region and across the organization. Be the go-to-person and coordinator for packaging, direct contact materials and transport related FSQR processes to ensure standardized processes are followed as designed and to enhance stakeholder’s alignment. Support digital and analytics reporting and handle documents, records and information control processes. Advise on the quality of existing processes and procedures and drive improvement solutions acting as a subject matter authority by cultivating a continuous improvement culture. Proactively follow up on adoption of standardized processes and track performance metrics and provide periodic reports to the key stakeholders. Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of four years of related work experience Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications Experience with implementing and sustaining food safety, quality and regulatory management systems across multiple lines of business in diverse countries, regulatory and legal environments. Demonstrated experience leading and implementing organizational change and quality culture. Experience working in a complex matrix organization, managing large or complex projects, across business and function collaborations. Experience auditing food safety, quality and regulatory programs. Project management experience.
