The business unit

The Business Unit Inflammation & Immunology is responsible for the Pfizer medicines developed in the area of rheumatology, gastro-enterology and dermatology. To optimize the health outcome of patients taking our medicines we are developing digital health solutions in co-creation with the different stakeholders (physicians, hospitals, patient associations…).

The Position

Driving new digital solutions to increase outcome for patients in the areas of rheumatology. Our aim is to ultimately improve the impact of our Pfizer medicines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the entire project management from development to implementation of a key digital health initiative aiming at increasing patient outcomes. A digital health initiative may include wearables, dashboard for physicians, artificial intelligence, health data integration in EMD, etc.
• Building partnerships with key stakeholders including health care professionals, patient associations, relevant start-ups, (IT departments in) hospitals
• Ensuring that our solutions are focusing on unmet patient and healthcare professionals (HCP) needs by reflecting these needs in the solution design requirements by working closing with your digital counterpart (internally) or a given start-up (externally)
• Applying design thinking philosophy to advance the digital health solution(s)
• Ensuring that all Digital Health solutions are designed and realized in compliance with the applicable regulations and Pfizer standards. This in consultation with the various internal subject matter experts.
• This is an people manager roleleading one patient outcome partner who will focus more on the implementation of projects with customers.
• Possible location(s) : Brussels, Elsene. For this position we do not offer relocation.

Your skills

• Master, preferably in the field of pharmacology or healthcare, leading to a good understanding of the patient journey
• Digital literate and proven digital skills, ideally through the combination of an educational degree and professional experience - experience with wearables, dashboards and/or health data integration in EMD is a plus
• Excellent project management skills, good understanding of financials, and able to produce business plans and go-to-market strategies
• Ability to work independently with high accountability and integrity
• An agile mindset & experience in design thinking & working with design sprints is an asset

• Sound business acumen, with the ability to apprehend technological dimensions and business challenges, and translate these into market proof propositions
• Entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on attitude
• Proved to have put design thinking into action
• L anguages: English, Dutch, French
