In order to support our growth, we are currently looking for a Payroll Officer to support all payroll and HR administration activities of Avertim’s fast developing Business Units in France, Germany and The Netherlands as well as assist our Belgian headquarters’ team.
As a Payroll Officer, you will be involved in the following core activities and projects:
- Payroll
- In close cooperation with the Payroll & Administration Manager, you ensure the administrative follow-up of the employees’ files and you handle the international payroll from A-Z for our different offices.
- You are the point of contact for all questions relating to individual or collective situations in connection with the payroll for the assigned subsidiaries or topics.
- HR Projects
- Together with your HR and Financial colleagues, get involved into the implementation of new projects compensation and benefits related projects (e.g. mobility plan, pension plan…).
- Onboarding
- Take over from the recruiter when an offer is accepted and manage all the administrative work related to the start of a new Employee (package update in our HR software based on work contract, insurances etc.).
- Onboard new Avertimer’s from an HR administration standpoint to facilitate their integration within Avertim from day one.
- Process optimization
- Make recommendations for optimizing, simplifying and/or improving the management of the payroll and to improve the efficiency of HR administration processes.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s required ; Master’s preferred in Human Resources Management or Accounting or any related topics
- A first experience in a similar corporate function or within a social secretary is an asset but not mandatory as you will be coached and trained
- Native level in French and fluent in English
- Good knowledge of Dutch or German is a valuable asset
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Team spirit as well as autonomy
- Efficient, reliable & proactive
- Good computer skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
