Our ideal Privacy Analyst will

You will work with the Data Protection Leader on all aspects of privacy and its related areas. Using you’re your expertise, you will assist and advise on data protection compliance within Esko.

Provide support with day-to-day operations within the Privacy team, along with legal research and risk assessment associated with complex data processing activities.

In your main role at Esko, you will:

Working as a part of the Packaging & Color Management privacy team, the primary role of the Privacy Analyst is to support the Data Protection leader in:
  • analyzing, deploying, adapting and supporting the Packaging & Color Management global privacy programme
  • analyzing and discussing data protection agreements for suppliers, sales and marketing teams.
  • conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments and working closely with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure risk assessments accurately capture associated privacy risks.
  • conducting ad hoc research on global and domestic privacy legislation, tracking changes and developments and communicating important updates to the team.
  • preparing responses to data subject rights requests and queries.
  • conducting Standard Contractual Clause Assessments.
  • analyzing information security policies, advising when these are due for review.
  • analyzing and preparing answers on enquiries from data protection authorities in countries where Packaging & Color Management is active
  • assisting with global data privacy projects where required.
  • assisting with conducting internal data protection audits, producing gap analysis and audit reports.
  • using the Data Protection tools to ensure proper privacy compliance
  • delivering data protection training for all personnel tailored to specific areas of the business.
Critical Success Factors for the Ideal Candidate Profile are:
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to establish and maintain effective business relationships in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, being able to effectively communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Creative problem-solver, able to identify and manage potential process improvements
  • Familiarity working with internal and external resources and service providers and working across different time zones
  • Desire to learn new concepts and take on new challenges
Your Education and/or Background Experience will have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent level of education and experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience gained in the field of privacy and data protection or tech security compliance.  
  • Familiarity working with internal and external resources and service providers and working across different time zones
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR with robust analytical and research skills.
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Highly motivated, intuitive and possess initiative to
