Functieomschrijving
As an equipment engineer you are responsible for the correct design of equipment and the follow-up of suppliers regarding documentation and manufacture of the purchased equipment.
  • You prepare data sheets and equipment specifications for various static equipment such as: pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks and silos.
  • As an Equipment Engineer you are familiar with the standards that relate to the above activities.
  • You are aware of the usual guidelines: PED, ATEX, machine directive.
  • You have relevant knowledge about materials and material selection, welding and corrosion issues.
  • You know how to do a FAT for static equipment.
  • Document follow-up, inspections at suppliers and monitoring the manufacture of devices are also part of your task.
  • You work in a team on multidisciplinary projects of different sizes.
  • You provide assistance with time estimates and capacity planning for all phases of a project

Wie zoeken we
  • You have a master’s degree in engineering with a mechanical background, a master in Welding Engineering is considered as a plus.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience, preferably with chemical installations in an engineering environment.
  • You have a sense of initiative and responsibility. You are dynamic, punctual and have an eye for detail.
  • Given your frequent contacts with clients and suppliers, your communication skills are at a high level.
  • Required language skills: Dutch and English; German / French are an asset.
