About Our Client

Our customer is a world leader in the transport and distribution sector, with brand-new offices in the north of Brussels (Vilvoorde).

Job Description
  • Management of a team of 2 AP specialists
  • Supervision of AP Accounting : accuracy, compliance and speed of processing of invoices, purchase orders and payment requests
  • Preparation and presentation of supplier-related analytic reporting and KPIs (Accounting + Procurement)
  • Supervision of the Procurement cycle, including supplier relations (contract management, receipt and processing of payments, cost supervision, etc.).
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation in AP accounting
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree an asset)
  • Fluent in English with an excellent level of French and/or Dutch
  • At least 5 years’ experience in AP accounting and Procurement cycle supervision
  • At least a first experience in coaching or people management
  • First experience in an international group and/or in the transport sector is an asset
  • Excellent BEGAAP skills (FRENCHGAAP and LUXGAAP are assets)
  • Excellent ability to analyze, interpret and communicate financial data
  • Strong interest in improving and automating accounting processes
