Our Procurement department is a dynamic team of 14 procurement experts covering category management, sourcing, vendor management, suppliers risk management and P2P activities. Procurement works in close collaboration with business stakeholders to create impact and deliver value on transformation projects and business operations for which AXA Belgium rely on third parties. Procurement oversees all goods and services purchases for a total of ~ 200 million euros spend per year.

We are looking to hire an experience Procurement Specialist - IT Services to develop a strategy that will sustain the IT landscape transformation over the next years. Besides leading strategic sourcing activities, you will work closely with key stakeholders within and outside our IT department to design the category approach that will deliver value and cost efficiency, bring innovation, and best manage vendors risks.

As a Procurement Specialist – IT Services, you will report directly to the Chief Procurement Officer.

In this key role, you will:

· define and implement the IT category strategy together with your main stakeholders and IT buyers and in connection with AXA Group category strategy.

· design a category roadmap to capture and prioritize the key sourcing events in order to focus on value creation and cost efficiency.

· remain current on market trends through relationships with suppliers and market experts; identify and communicate new technologies and solutions to key problems in the assigned spend areas .

· establish and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure successful implementation of key contracts, vendor performance and risk management.

· drive and manage large and complex sourcing events.

· directly manage, coach and develop 1 to 2 more junior sourcing experts and more generally develop the sourcing team on IT procurement practices.

· drive improvement of procurement efficiency and effectiveness throughout AXA. Especially work together with Procurement operations team to streamline and improve sourcing to pay processes efficiency and drive innovation.

· maintain a working knowledge of applicable contractual standards and best practices for your category.

The ideal profile we are looking for has:

· at least a first experience of 5 years in IT Procurement with a focus on IT services complex sourcing and contracting.

· a detailed understanding of IT key suppliers and supply market dynamics.

· experience of managing supplier relationships to ensure delivery to the agreed quality, cost and time.

· good legal working knowledge in drafting contracts and negotiating contracts terms.

· a variety of skills such as: project management experience, curiosity, out of the box thinking, able to drive change, excellent communication & relational skills, results-oriented, agile and pragmatic, strong analytical capabilities and negotiation skills.
