Product Manager

This is a perfect opportunity for you to sit at the crossroads of the value our product brings to our customers and how that is being realised technically

You’ll report straight into Robbie our Chief Product Officer, as well coached and mentored by two of our senior product managers Olivier and Jihane, you’re going to be in safe hands and learn a shed load!

You’ll work across two of our flagship products; MXP and Declaree; both are Mobile and Web app products with a strong focus on mobile, this will give you variety in your job.

With a couple of years of hard work, you can expect to progress to a medior role; we have a “promote from within” culture so we want to hear where you see your journey taking you within Mobilexpense

What will you do?

• 
  You will work with the other Product Managers (you’ll be our 5th) and the design & engineering team to define how our products solve our customers problems
• You will work with the engineering team to support them in resolving priority conflicts, writing user stories, managing feasibility risks, etc.
• You’ll also support the product managers by creating documentation for the different product stakeholders including customers and keeping track of a long-term capacity plan together with engineering
• Our international product teams are based across Belgium, Portugal, India and Sweden creating dynamic, multi-disciplinary teams dedicated to helping our customers & users
• You’ll work in a squad according to Scrum/agile methodologies
• You’ll understand the roadmap & product goals and translate these into actionable user stories
• With every sprint, you’ll translate the product roadmap into sprint goals together with the squad and follow up on the successful delivery of those goals
• You’ll support the squad daily keeping them focused on realising the sprint goals and removing any unclarity & priority conflicts
• Create customer & marketing documentation for all new product functionality your squad delivers

About You:

• 
  You are passionate about digital technologies
• You ideally have a couple of years of experience in product management
• You’re enthusiastic, can communicate clearly, you’re well organised and don’t shy away from taking initiative to address issues & conflicts
• You are able to work with people with different backgrounds aligning everybody on common goals & outcomes
• You take ownership and can commit yourself to delivering on product plans you made while striving for continuous improvement and learning from the mistakes or failures
• You’re fluent in English, (French or Dutch is a plus)
• You can break down a complex problem into its constituent parts and communicate this clearly
• Knowledge about project methodologies (Agile/SCRUM, PRINCE2, ITILv3) is a plus
