Localisation du poste: ArlonBlue collar position.
In-shift position: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am + weekend shift on a rota basis for patrolling activities.
Rotation between the positions of Product Quality Specialist and Patroller.

Votre rôle:
The Product Quality Expert will report to the Quality Specialist to ensure the highest level of quality of all Ferrero products. The Product Quality Expert will be responsible for the inspection of in-process and finished products.
The Patroller reports to the Food Safety Manager and supports the production teams to ensure compliance with good hygiene/manufacturing practices during production as well as during cleaning activities.
Principales responsabilités :
Product Quality Expert
- Enter, transcribe, record, store or retain information in written or electronic form.
- Completing and correctly storing all quality inspection reports or other reports included in quality activities.
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of documentation relating to quality and food safety (e.g. self-checking instructions and related forms, cleaning and sanitation, oPRP, CCP, etc.) in relation to the production lines under your responsibility.
- Plan, organise, deliver and evaluate the results of quality-related training, particularly for self-checking employees and subcontractors, CCP monitoring, oPRP, etc. to be carried out on production lines.
- Support operators in checking that activities are correctly implemented.
- Process and archive records of training provided to the production team.
- Provide training to Quality Specialists and Quality Control operators for self-checks and food safety checks.
- Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety.
- Inspect and audit processes and products and work closely with the production unit to ensure compliance with standards.
- Ensuring timely reporting and assessment of food safety and quality risks.
- Operational management of holds and rejections of non-compliant products.
- Participation in SIM2 meetings for continuous improvement.
- Inspecting the production of finished products; ensuring that finished products meet the quality specifications set by Ferrero’s quality department.
- Ensure review of daily quality reports prepared by production staff (data entry into systems such as SAP-QM or Fenice); ensure review of monthly reports; request and verify necessary adjustments.
- Working with the production unit to seek continuous improvement in quality.
- Collecting and archiving retained samples from the lines.
- Record the correct movements on SAP (e.g. stock for quality checks / blocked stock / blocked on behalf of FTL)
- Risk assessment, with the production and maintenance team in the event of non-compliance.
- Issue non-conformance reports whenever a monitored parameter shows "out of specification" values.
- In the event of anomalies, work with the UGP team, Quality Specialists, Maintenance and other support departments to identify and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in HACCP meetings and work with the Food Safety team to implement and monitor HACCP in the field.
- Participate in investigations (quality, HACCP and complaints).
- Inspection of production lines/areas and the plant perimeter to identify deviations from good practice/GMP.
- Communicate with the managers the deviations observed and defining with them a corrective action plan.
- Communicate with staff on a daily basis on the good practices/GMP to be observed.
- Participate in working groups on the various issues raised during patrolling activities.
- Follow up with the various production units at least once a week on the various actions in progress.
- Participate in weekly meetings on patrolling activities.
- Implementing action plans in agreement with the various departments and monitoring ongoing actions and compliance with implementation deadlines.
- Preparing data for patrolling meetings.
- Carrying out cleaning checks during the week and at weekends and issuing cleaning validation reports.
- Participate in the drafting and implementation of cleaning procedures adapted to production lines.
- Monitor the KPIs linked to patrolling and develop them in line with activities.
- Degree in a science-related field.
- Experience in quality control or quality assurance is required.
- Experience in food manufacturing is an asset.
- Knowledge of good hygiene practices/GMP to be applied in food processing plants.
- Knowledge of the HACCP system.
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
- Good knowledge of computer systems/Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills.
- Team spirit.
- Availability and flexibility.
- Good level of French, any other language is a plus.
