Our regional Benelux organization is currently looking to recruit a new team member to strengthen sales both through direct sales and through close collaboration with our distribution partners.

This is an excellent career opportunity for driven individuals with good knowledge of surveying equipment that are used in the Building Construction sectorin the Benelux region and user requirements in this market.

In this role, you will

  • “Evangelize” the benefits of Digital Construction Workflows and Processes to the Building Construction industry.
  • Actively promote new technology adoption in the Building Construction Market. It is also expected to increase the sales revenue by direct and dealer sales and introduce initiatives to grow the business in Building Construction.
  • Take ownership of the sales process from Lead to Sale (direct or through partner collaboration) for our entire Building Construction portfolio. This includes demonstrations, presentations and quoting.
  • Maintaining existing customer relations (account management)
  • Keep abreast of latest developments in Building Construction sector including majority of the solutions applicable to this sector and competitors’ offerings.
  • Work collaboratively and support the Team leaders, Construction dealers, Sales Engineers and Product Specialists to ensure that the correct level of service is being provided to the market place.
  • Keep up to date with products and competitors activity and general market conditions.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting customers objectives. Actively promote new products and developments to existing and new customers.
  • Provide trustworthy and intelligent feedback to the Team Lead Benelux Building Construction.
  • Input and implementation activities for product launch plans.
  • Attend industry and company specific conferences and events.
  • Disciplined use of CRM and other administrative requirements. Use of CRM to keep track of distribution partners leads and opportunities..
  • Provide guidance to our Building Construction dealers active in Belgium & Luxemburg.

Travel requirements: Domestic (Belgium & Luxemburg) and some occasional international travel (the Netherlands/UK/Switzerland) will be required.

Other profile requirements

  • A relevant higher education degree (e.g. Bachelor bouwkunde, Industrial Engineer bouwkunde, toegepaste architectuur option BIM) or equivalent by experience.
  • Business-fluent French or Dutch with good level of the other, as well as a strong command of English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels and functions.
  • Team player and problem solver.
  • Commercial mindset able to perform in a technical environment, partly in outside conditions.
  • Strong sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability.
  • Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of CRM software solutions (e.g. Salesforce.com).
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
