Project Coordinator

To lead its increasing number of development and manufacturing projects, Catalent Cell and Gene Therapy is looking for a highly motivated Project Coordinator.

The role

The Project Coordinator works in collaboration with (Senior) Project Managers on several projects related to the introduction of new products and is able to manage small projects and/or part of larger ones on his/her own. This position is expected to support (Senior) Project Managers by facilitating project logistics.

In order to fulfill his/her role, the Project Coordinator will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Works in collaboration with (Senior) Project Managers on several projects related to the introduction of new products;

• Is able to manage small projects and/or part of larger ones on his/her own;

• Supports (Senior) Project Managers by facilitating project logistics;

• Actively participates and suggests solutions to problems;

• Coordinates, supports, and documents all project activities from inception to completion (including handover to Commercial);

• Ensures coordination, follow-up, and alignment of all internal stakeholders and customers from inception (including quotations preparation and project preparation phase) to completion, with daily contacts;

• Assists with customer calls and onsite customer visits;

• Coordinates scheduling, budgeting, change orders, and development of presentations to help ensure project completion;

• Ensures the coordination and validation of technical, development, documentary, planning, and quality aspects of projects;

• Coordinates, monitors, and follows-up the activities related to development, validation, production, stability, or clinical trials of new products (e.g. write and validate the Global Validation Plan; Check development/validation batch records published before transfer to production; etc.);

• Keeps up with customer regulatory changes and marketing authorization applications – issue required documents when needed;

• Supports on-site during Project Manufacturing phases;

• Acts as back-up to the Project Manager

The candidate

• Master of Science or Master scientific Engineer or equivalent

• May have no project management experience

• A first experience within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry is a real asset

• Knowledge of procedure validation and manufacturing processes in sterile conditions is a plus

• Fluency in French and/or English

• Knowledge of Excel, Word, MS Project, and PowerPoint

• Strong communication and presentation skills (including the ability to clearly communicate to stakeholders);

• Ability to adapt quickly in a complex and changing environment;

• Good coordination – organization skills (planning, multitasking);

• Strong interpersonal skills (proactivity, diplomacy, and pragmatism);

• Analytical and logical skills;

• Problem-solving skills, a hands-on "Can Do" mentality, and dedication to providing results;
