Mission

The mission of the Purchasing Category Manager – Intellectual Property (IP) is to lead all intellectual service RFP in our Headquarter of Zaventem at group or division level ( Consulting, Marketing, Communication, M&A, Operations, Legal, CEO… ).

Role
  • Lead HQ ( or support requester with) specific RFP on request.
  • Support, explain, improve P2P process and purchasing rules locally : bring Expertise and Efficiency
    Develop purchasing strategy for Intellectual Services purchases ( Consultant, HR, Legal, Services…) while optimizing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
  • Ensure the proper management and relations of ETEX with key vendors in order to get maximum value for the company. Build relevant category Strategies
  • Be the interface between Purchasing and Support Functions communities;
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop suppliers and supply options. Manage the Approved Vendor List (AVL)
  • Apply world-class sourcing processes - supplier evaluation, selection and performance reporting, contract negotiation, price inflation management,.
  • Develop and share tools and methods (vendor list…)
  • Communicate with all stakeholders regarding sourcing strategies, suppliers’ market evolutions, implementation requirements.
Profile
Experienced, resilient, proactive, service oriented, diplomatic.
Able to work with all stakeholders up to Etex CEO
Need to demonstrate a successful previous experience in similar position

Reporting line: Head of Indirect Head of Purchasing, Indirect Purchases

Language Skills
English (French / German / Spanish appreciated)

Required Education
Minimum education: high school degree or university degree in Engineering.
Master’s in economics or equivalent / MBA is a plus At least 10 years’ experience Purchasing and Marketing purchases

Work Location
The role is based in HQ office, Zaventem

Geographical Context and Travel Requirements
This role will require travel mainly within Europe.
