We are looking for an enthusiastic PURCHASING INTERNSHIP to join our team specializing in SUPPLY CHAIN for our CUMMINS FILTRAION in RUMST, Belgium. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Giving support to supplier improvement engineers and purchasing specialists
  • Making technical data analyze
  • Helping with the periodic quality and commercial elements reporting process
  • Giving support to preparation of compliance reports with European and American purchasing strategies by contacting the supplier directly when it is necessary
  • Supporting various purchasing resourcing and cost saving projects
  • Asssisting with purchasing contracts and purchasing system works

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or related field.
  • Having intermediate verbal and writing skills in English
  • Having an efficient ability to use MS Office Programs
  • Having openness to learning and self-improvement
