Are you a people person with a passion for creating unforgettable holiday experiences? We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and customer-centric individual to fill our seasonal receptionist role. As the first point of contact for our valued guests, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring their journey starts and ends with a splash of excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Warmly Welcome Guests: Greet and assist customers during boarding and return formalities, ensuring a positive and friendly atmosphere from the get-go.
  • Smooth Payments: Navigate the waters of payment processes with ease. Manage customer payments seamlessly, ensuring a stress-free financial journey for our guests.
  • Boating Schedule: Collaborate in establishing daily and weekly departure schedules using our cutting-edge Neptune reservation software. Keep the Neptune database shipshape by updating customer and cruise information daily.
  • Cruise Concierge: Provide expert advice on itineraries, share exciting tourist information, and distribute satisfaction questionnaires for valuable feedback.
  • Organizational Maestro: Contribute to the smooth operation of the reception desk and facilitate smooth communication between the quay and the reception area.

What We’re Looking For:

Skills, Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Training:

  • Multilingual Marvel: Fluent in English, Dutch and/or German, French would be beneficial, any other language knowledge is a bonus
  • Communication Virtuoso: Showcase good interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a pleasant telephone manner to interact effectively with our guests at our desk, over the phone and via emails too.
  • Service-Oriented Approach: Understand the unique needs of each guest and tailor your suggestions accordingly, ensuring a personalized and memorable journey. Align with our mission to provide outstanding customer service and actively contribute to achieving the objectives of the base and the company.
  • Tech Savvy: Navigate through Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) with ease, ensuring smooth administrative operations. Also good with other booking systems (Neptun).
  • Collaborative Waterscape: Join hands with your fellow crew members to create a harmonious and welcoming environment. Work together to ensure every guest feels the warmth of our hospitality.
