Function

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact within the region for HQ, focusing on all strategic initiatives related to marketing and product management. You will drive these topics to enable our sales departments to concentrate on what they do best: sales.

Responsibilities

  • Leads marketing communications, product management, analytics and training (in collaboration with the Kärcher Campus);
  • Guarantee the correct efficiency of the resources in marketing in the different ALG’s (budget and media plans);
  • Develop the Brand in the Region;
  • “Guardian” of Kärcher´s CD/CI and Brand;
  • Enables sales by providing supporting those functions
  • Ensures overall strategic pricing excellence with sales departments’;
  • Provides global strategic guidance regarding marketing and product management to ALG’s;
  • Indicate strategic recommendations to HQ to clarify needs of region countries;
  • Supports the drive of strategic product initiatives and coordinates market launches;
  • Coordinates uniform approach on product, marketing and pricing activities;
  • Approves regional / national marketing plan;
  • Ensures sales training activities for sales force in collaboration with HR;
  • Provides overarching analytics capabilities to deliver sales, service and marketing / e-commerce analysis and consultancy;
  • Link between local business teams and data analytics team at HQ. Formulates data needs to AKW and generates interest and requirements from the subsidiaries;
  • Develops the local teams to be aligned on regional level;
  • Other responsibilities connected to the role;
  • Marketing budgets are not exceeded;
  • Success of marketing and brand building activities;
  • Regional Media strategy is aligned with AKW and distributed to ALGs;
  • Relevant material on products, marketing, pricing (incl. margin calculation) and training is provided to sales on time and ready to use.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing;
  • Additional knowledge in Digital Marketing is highly valuable;
  • Social media – community manager experience it is highly valuable;
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing management position with strong analytical and project management skills;
  • Experience in multinational company and environment with a strong International Mindset;
  • Good English skills are a must.
