Sales & Key Account Manager Europe and South America

Aeronautics – Contract Management – Team Leadership – FR/EN

Position

Reporting to VP Commercial Europe & South America, you will be responsible for the management of a wide portfolio of strategic customers and the generation of revenue/growth. You will be in charge of key contracts management while required to coordinate business development in order to continuously create room for additional profitability. Your role will be exposed to customers senior counterparts, and you will be accountable to mitigate their expectations while protecting the company’s interests. Managing and protecting customer relationship will be also essential in this role. Lastly you may be requested to take a role in tactical joint ventures as one of the key interface of the Sonaca Group, managing long lasting relationships with various industrial partners and leading teams from multiple facilities/departments.

Your major responsibilities will be:

Contract management:

  • Protect profitability of existing contracts while increasing EBITDA continuously.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain profitable contracts at assigned accounts in line with company strategy.
  • Negotiate the renewal of existing contracts while trying to optimize EBITDA.

Transversal tasks:

  • Develop and ensure good relationships at various Customers organizational levels, both Commercial and Technical.
  • Propose, get approval and achieve yearly objectives (revenues, EBITDA, performance, etc..).
  • Report progress through monthly updates with respect to yearly objectives.
  • Schedule appointments, prepare and deliver presentation to the client, having researched their business and requirements.
  • Work as part of a team and closely with other departments within the organization.
  • Manage a team of Account Manager(s) and Contract Administrator(s).
  • Adopt a lean approach to support the commercial organization being always more efficient.

Profile

  • You hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent through experience) in a technical or commercial orientation.
  • You have an extensive knowledge of the Aerospace industry and good knowledge of the structural Aerospace market.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a commercial role and are used to negotiating highly technical contracts in a competitive industrial environment.
  • You have the ability to build strong relationship and to significantly and positively impact the organization. You are performance oriented and thrive on winning deals.
  • You have strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
  • You have strategic analysis skills and a positive mindset. You enjoy solving tough problems autonomously.
  • You are fact & figures oriented. Anticipation and on time achievement of deadlines are essentials.
  • You communicate fluently in French and English. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You hold a full clean driving licence. You are flexible to travel up to 30%.
