As a Sales Manager, you will drive the sales performance of our Motion business in motors and drives in Belgium and Luxemburg specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in line with global strategy.

You will lead and coach the local sales organization to meet ambitious targets and exceed customer expectations.

Your responsibilities
  • Identifying new business opportunities and creating clear strategies to convert them
  • Coordinating the information flow around sales activities, and providing forecasts and market intelligence to marketing and sales
  • Establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale
  • Building up strong relations with our partners in collaboration with the channel program manager
  • Building a robust sales organization through best practices, training and cross-collaboration
Your background
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and sales management, working as sales Manager with motors, drives or equivalent technical products in the industrial market
  • Experience of business development, account management and cross-selling
  • A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms
  • Exceptional communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude
  • A real people manager, able to coach the sales team and bring them to a higher level
  • A bachelor or equivalent by experience as Electro mechanical or Electrical engineer is expected
  • Knowledge of Dutch, French and English is a must in this role
  • Knowledge of Sales force is a plus
