Account Manager Bracing & Support for Brussels & Flemish-Brabant area

Job Description

You will be responsible for:
  • Sales of Bracing & Support products within your region to a wide variety of customers including orthopedic surgeons, procurement departments, plaster technicians, orthotists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, etc., ensuring compliance with all the company rules and procedures.
  • Developing new and existing relationships through regular visits and follow-ups, promoting the DJO range of products to ensure targeted growth is achieved.
  • Attending exhibitions (inter)nationally and locally as may be required from time to time.
  • Working as part of the sales team, you will keep up to date with developments in the territory and provide feedback to colleagues.
  • Supporting all local & national marketing strategies and initiatives and make suggestions for new initiatives. Attend sales meetings and actively contribute to driving future sales.
  • Ensure your key accounts are managed effectively liaising with head office staff as appropriate.
  • Ensure that your product knowledge and sector knowledge is kept up to date by attendance at training programs or by own study. Provide support to new staff as may be requested.
  • Provide high quality training support for key customers, liaising with internal resources where appropriate.
Desired Skills And Experience

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • Sales person with first sales experience in the Medical Device sector or Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Having studied in the field of Physical Therapy, Sports Science or a related subject with knowledge of anatomy.
  • Fluent and articulate communicator; able to build effective relationships at all levels; good negotiator.
  • Attention to details, honors commitments; effective time manager.
  • Enthusiastic, spontaneous and positive minded.
  • Languages required: Dutch and French. English would be a plus.
