Role overview

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of various IT projects. Your key tasks will include

Collaborating with the business to design new solutions or enhance existing ones.

Identifying and analyzing business needs, and modeling operational processes to develop or improve IT tools. This includes modeling data relevant to the implemented processes.

Building and managing the product backlog, setting priorities, and planning based on business requirements throughout the development process.

Documenting detailed system requirements that align with business needs.

Validating functional analysis from the IT department to ensure alignment with business specifications.

Writing and executing test scenarios to validate developments during the implementation phases.

Supporting the business in specifying and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Training and assisting the business to ensure optimal use of the tools developed.

Requirements

Experience with Agile-Scrum methodology

Proficiency in project management

Fluency in English and either French or Dutch, with a good understanding of the second language

A degree in civil, industrial, or commercial engineering

Interest in the energy or similar sectors

Experience in gathering and analyzing business needs, including process and data modeling

Skills in writing and validating functional specifications

Strong analytical and conceptual abilities

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adopt a solution-oriented approach

Customer-focused, flexible, with critical thinking and strong teamwork skills
