A company active in the engineering sector is currently looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their offices in Brussels.

Thanks to your expertise in accounting, you will be the perfect addition to the finance team, and you will be co-responsible for the correct execution of the bookkeeping.

Your main responsibilities as the new Senior Accountant will include:

  • Book purchase and sales invoices in analytical cost centers and monitor the debtor’s transactions
  • Execute the bank transactions
  • Contribute to a timely monthly closing and VAT declaration
  • Assist in preparing the annual accounts
  • Assist in the preparation of the audit
  • Ensure the financial follow-up of the projects, both for internal and external reporting

Your profile:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a Master’s degree in a financial field
  • You have several years of experience in Accounting
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French, knowledge of English is an asset

Your strengths:

  • You are organised, precise and a team-player
  • Through your previous experience you’ve developed a sense of initiative and you are proactive
