We’re looking for an experienced consultant to join our client’s team. This individual will be crucial in analyzing processes and data for various projects aimed at enhancing water management practices.

Responsibilities And Role

The consultant will take on a pivotal role as a functional/business analyst, working closely with business stakeholders and IT architects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Mapping out current processes and collaborating on future process designs.
  • Conducting thorough data analysis to identify data sources and transformations.
  • Examining optimization opportunities for these processes within the client’s application and data landscape.
  • Preparing a Project Initiation Document (PID) based on an approved project proposal.
  • Managing further analyses during project execution and coordinating testing phases.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will showcase a strong background with demonstrable expertise in general business operations related to ICT and will possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in functional and/or business analysis.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Ability to produce detailed analyses, including UML and mockups.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process development and optimization.
  • Strong command of Dutch at CEFR level C2 and fluency in English.
Additional Skills And Experience

The consultant should also be familiar with:

  • Process analysis or modeling techniques.
  • Requirements analysis and use case documentation.
  • Stakeholder management and providing insights into project management facets.
  • Experience in government projects is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of XML, XSD, and conceptual modeling would be beneficial.
  • Experience with SQL is a nice-to-have.
