Sales business function is responsible for growing Basware’s cloud revenue via new customer acquisition and driving expansion within a satisfied customer base. Through customer-centric selling and collaborative account management, we lead prospects & customers through the buying process with Basware, leveraging sales platforms including CRM, CPQ, and CLM that support managing the sales cycle.

In partnership with Marketing, Customer Services, and Partners, we enable organizations to simplify operations, spend smarter and drive the transformation of their Finance & Procurement functions.

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Sales Manager to build and drive our global Corporate Sales team

Key Role Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Sales Manager to join our office in Amsterdam and to establish, manage, oversee and support our global Corporate Sales representatives team. The Corporate Sales team is now being established in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to serve all our markets worldwide by bringing on new customers and expanding with existing customers.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Corporate Sales manager, looking to take the next step in their career by leading the setup of this global function. You enjoy sales, teamwork, and inspiring others to give their best in finding opportunities and achieving great outcomes. You will employ the best practice you have developed as a Corporate Sales rep, team lead, and manager, taking Basware’s Corporate Sales operation to the next level. Kindly note that the position requires relocation to Amsterdam if not already a resident in the Netherlands.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Establish the global Corporate Sales practice at Basware, implement global processes, performance metrics, and KPIs, and drive ARR growth
  • Manage and oversee the work of the Corporate Sales representatives team, establishing a winning culture and day-to-day activities, tempo, and rituals that drive success
  • Coach, train, evaluate and monitor sales representatives performance
  • Set and track pipeline and sales targets and KPIs
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
  • Ensure sales, finance, and legal policies and procedures are met
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
  • Grow the team to meet the future growth needs of the market
  • Collaborate with Marketing, BDR, Sales Ops, alliances sales, and regional sales leaders to ensure alignment
  • Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed
  • Experience of and a strong drive to successfully establish new ways of working in a global enterprise setting
  • Proven successful track record as a Corporate Sales manager within an Enterprise selling environment, preferably SaaS
  • In-depth understanding of best practices, processes, and daily rituals which drive outstanding sales performance and the ability to implement these in a team setting
  • Experience with working in an international environment driving sales across multiple territories
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team
  • Ability to collaborate with and hold own against senior stakeholders from sales and marketing
  • Proficient in Dynamics CRM preferred
